Job profile:
Day-to-day application support and application monitoring.
Management of the daily application health checks.
Ongoing maintenance of the applications.
Provide Level 2 support for Navis N4 and other applications.
Responsible for stability of production environment ensuring applications and all interfaces to have maximum availability.
Collaborate closely with other internal technical teams/business users in investigating, testing and implementing application fixes.
Follow escalation procedures during outages.
Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the specific principles.
Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
Configure authentication methods to control access to the applications.
Resolve the tickets on time and maintain the SLAs to ensure smooth running of the workflow.
Perform the application whitelisting and other security tasks to prevent unauthorized access and protect the information.
Candidate profile:
A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT applications or in a related field.
Demonstrable experience in an application support position in a related field.
Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and external clients.
Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
Strong Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
Age below 35 years.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in taking backup and restoring data using various techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical employees and customers.
