Junior Executive – Operations

Main responsibilities of the job:

• Coordinate with Central Planning teams at Planning Centers of respective customers regarding ship and yard planning activities of the Company.
• Attend to the seamless execution of following activities within the company:

  – Dispatch and Control functions as part of the Control Room

  – Pre and Post vessel and yard planning functions

  – ITT planning and execution coordination

  – Pre and Post vessel execution validation and processing

  – Supplementary Vessel and Yard planning

  – Customer coordination and compliance

  – Stakeholder coordination and compliance

  – Other relevant service request management, execution and compliance

  – Pre and Post execution validation and compliance

• Communicate extensively with Central Planning teams of respective shipping lines, Agency personnel, statutory authorities and with all relevant staff and officials both verbally and in writing.

Candidate profile:

• A Degree or a professional qualification relevant to the industry from a recognized university/ Institute.
• Prior experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
• Fluency in English – both in spoken and written communication.
• A persuasive personality with ability to communicate clearly in both Sinhala and English languages.
• Ability to demonstrate exemplary leadership, analytical and innovative thinking skills.
• Willing to work roster covering day/night shifts including holidays/weekends assigned in advance.
