Job profile:

This position is responsible for performing specialized work efficiently with confidence, competence and high attention to details.

Main responsibilities of the job include:

• Undertake electrical & mechanical repairs, servicing, and refurbishment of all terminal equipment such as Quay Gantry Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes and Terminal Trailers to the required standards.
• Diagnose faults in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and heavy mechanical systems.
• Programming of SIEMENS / YASKAWA PLCs.
• Diagnose faults in AC/DC variable speed drives and carry out programming changes and repairs.
• Work in MV/LV power supply and distribution systems.
• Undertake electrical, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance.

Candidate profile:

Our ideal candidate must be a disciplined individual with a strong commitment to work and must have an excellent knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.

You must have:

• Successfully completed 03 years full time certificate course in the field of Electrical/Mechanical /Mechatronic engineering from a reputed technical institute.
• Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination in all subjects with three (03) credit passes including Mathematics and at least a simple pass for English language.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in engines.
• Ability to read and understand manuals and Engineering drawings.
• Minimum two (02) years of experience in the relevant field.
• A valid heavy vehicle driving license.
• Ability to work at heights and on roster/shift basis.
