Job Profile
The Assistant Manager – Commercial and Marketing is responsible for the planning, budgeting, simulating and monitoring of commercial data, maintaining commercial databases and for the implementation of commercial and marketing activities of the company. The individual should be a dynamic and results-driven individual. The successful candidate should be passionate about brand management, possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizing skills, data analytics skills and have a keen eye for maritime industry trends and network developments.
Main Responsibilities of the Job:
- Automate and maintain predetermined marketing databases, execute statistical analysis and interpret data in support of commercial decision making and company performance reporting.
- Customer specific commercial modeling, monitoring compliance and performance, and participation and/or
facilitation of customer engagement.
- Prepare budgets, forecast, carry out variance analysis & tariff creation.
- Gather data and competitor information for execution of C&M strategy and onboarding of Customers.
- Compile and maintain business presentations library for target groups.
- Building company brand equity externally and internally, through cohesive teamwork among functions.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Marketing or logistics or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar field.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing metrics.
- Excellent command in English language.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office Package and ERP (Navis 4) Systems.
- Fast learning ability
- Good negotiation and analytical skills.
- Social and outgoing personality.
